While I unfortunately cannot classify for FIRE, I agree with all the philosophy stated here. I'm at a point, where I want to steady the ship and not think that my earnings will continue to grow exponentially (and neither do I want them to grow like that). I like to focus on a good 50 hrs/week job and then slowly wind that down to a 20-30 hrs/week in the next decade.

Actually, a question: while talking about LCOL, what do you think of emigrating to a different country, especially if you are an immigrant here in US?
