One thing for starters is eliminate the winner takes all from at least the presdiential election. Then, the election is not about the three or four independent mid-western states but bigger states like cali and ny come into play!

Far too long, dems have taken them forgranted and passed garbage legislations and treating critical states like their leftist lab ground. Same for reps in the southern states, which just use them to pass anachronistic laws that were relevant in biblical times!
