Love this statement.

In my old org, we essentially switched back to a single service after realizing that starting with micro-services first strategy was hurting us in tracking deployments, reinventing the wheel and not really giving us the benefits of faster velocity and quicker turn around times.

We still wanted our own microservice v/s going back to another team's maintained service, but that was about it. It was the Conway's law that was guiding us and nothing more when it came to micro-services.
