In life, we get manipulated by people. At times monetarily and at times psychologically.

By reading this, it seemed to me that you did a lot of things willingly and not by coercion or threat. So, to say that, the person should have never been released sounded harsh to me.

He was not a decent human being, but if we make that a criteria to live in a free society, then prisons will be full....they are already full, so, i will rephrase my sentence as "there will be very few people who will be roaming around on the streets".....covid already accomplished that...but hope u got the gist.
