I did find the book long, but to call it as mediocre is a bit unfair. By the same yardstick, you can say that Bible is a waste of time reading. it's all about compassion and faith.

The book is probably a hundred pages long, but it does do a good job of explaining why leaders need to be open minded and also tap into their self doubt to be successful and make their organizations successful.
