Great description!

A lot of what i envisioned as a manager was about doing design reviews, enforcing engineering excellence. I still get to do some of it, but a lot of time is to ensure my team stays motivated, has clear direction, gets visibility and has a meaningful career progression.

I struggled when someone used to ask me how my day looked like as a manager, because every day was different than others and at times i didn’t have the time to think of how to identify common patterns. These short paragraphs are really helpful in organizing my thoughts and how to explain my day to day.
