Do we need managers of any kind?

If everyone was responsible and could get along with each other, we wouldn't need one. Your executives could trust people to do their work and world is beautiful.

Except that it isn't. And so, you get managers. And it turns out they aren't perfect either. Because they are rewarded for empire building. And so, they build empires and they pretend to be busy.

But, what other options do we have that work? If there are, then I'm all ears. May be chatgpt ;)
